Angel Tree Christmas Campaign

In the spirit of Advent and Christmas, our school community will collect gift cards and gifts to bring some Christmas cheer into the homes of families in our community who need a little extra help.

 

St. Matthew Angel Tree will run from  Monday, December 2nd until Monday December 16th.

Gr. 5 Trip Tomorrow

Due to the inclement weather that is predicted for tomorrow, we will be transporting the students to the Waterloo Public Library via school bus.  Students still require rain gear, as they will be walking from the Library to the Museum.

Winter Clothing and Hygiene Drive

Calling ALL Wildcat families!

The Youth Faith Ambassadors are running a Winter Clothing and Hygiene Drive to help support the Fountain of Hope Ministries located in downtown Kitchener. We will be collecting items from now until December 5th at the end of the day.

PD Day Tomorrow/ Belonging Week

Just a reminder that tomorrow is a PD Day, there is no school for our students.

Next week, November 18-22 is Belonging Week.

In a community where students believe they belong, we can prevent/reduce/defeat bullying type behaviours.   St. Matthew will be celebrating Belonging Week through announcements and activities both within and outside of the classroom.
